Description
Runes have a great significance to the Odinist. They are counted as being among the most sacred of our symbols, and our religion would not be complete with out them. These symbols are holy, and knowledge of them is part of the learning experience which every Odinist must attempt at some time in his explorations within our religion. The Runes are the symbolic expression of those natural forces within and behind Nature and the Cosmos, which we see personified in the Deities of our Pantheon. The Runes express the interaction of these holy forces, and their influence and movement within the Web of Wyrd. The practice of Rune Meditation is both spiritually and mentally beneficial. It expands the mind, and broadens the consciousness, and brings an awareness of those Divine Forces with which we communicate – the Gods and Goddesses of the Odinic Pantheon. The following text is a description of one man’s adventures with Rune meditation.
