ODINISM – Our Faith, Heritage and Identity – Part 4

by Heimgest DCG The way forward for our Faith is not an easy one, but most worthwhile things are not easily obtained. Discipline and commitment are vital for any movement, spiritual, physical or mental; huge patience and perseverance are needed.

Vaccination: Venom of Jormungandr

By Eowyn OR There is a common assumption held by many Odinists and non-Odinists alike that vaccination gives Mother Nature a ‘helping hand’ by strengthening our immune systems against viruses and bacteria. Medical Establishment cries to “Vaccinate or Die” and their manipulation of information has coerced millions of people into partaking of vaccination programmes that are measurably lethal to ourselves and our offspring; and it is the evidence from orthodox medical researchers’ own findings that damns them.

Family – The Future of our Folk

From a young age, idealism ruled my conscious thought process. The world was, and to many extents still is, very ‘black and white’ to me. And never has this philosophy been proven more correct than when I learned of the eternal concept of Natural Law, for in nature we constantly see very simple and definite answers to issues which have been significantly over complicated by our so-called ‘civilised society’.

The Elder Tree

The ELDER is a tree whose reputation has been aspersed by Christians, no doubt because of the reverence and affection with which it was regarded in pagan times.

Middling Wise

By Michael Boyd AOR I have often been accused of being ‘extreme’ on certain issues concerning ethics and morality, yet I can only smile and say, “true”. An elderly friend of mine named Gordon Clark, long since deceased, used to say when accused of ‘extremism’, “Extreme? You’re damn right I am extreme; I love my folk and friends as much as I hate my enemies”. His point, despite the tone, was that at times extremism is needed and often just means ‘true’.

Spirit: Instinct, Intellect and Emotion PART 1

By Tyrsegil Bloodketil

Spirit is the vitality of being, the essence of existence without which life would not be possible. Conversely, spirit cannot exist without matter, marking the reliance of the physical body and spirit upon one another as integral. In the purest Pan-Aryan spiritual systems the significance of the spirit comprises the core of sacred teachings from the Old Norse önd and odh (Germanic wod) to the Sanskrit prana and atman (Germanic athem) representing the Breath of Life and Self respectively.

A Chain Made of Generations

Ancestor is a word we hear a lot in Odinism. At seasonal blots and special rituals such as a Naming, Profession or Bael we hear it and hopefully within your home you hear this term as well. So what does this word mean and why is it so important?

Doorway To Valhalla

I have thoughts I can't express, In words I don't yet know; About a Land that's best, To which I'm soon to go.

What it means to be Folkish

Recently I was engaged in a rather heated and lengthy debate with some people close to me about my Folkish beliefs and the general Folkish stance of our organisation, the Odinic Rite.
